5-Day Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program

Our Colorado Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides 15 hours per week of intensive therapy in group and individual settings and access to psychiatric services. Individuals in 5-Day IOP can work in the afternoon and evenings.

What is a 5-Day IOP Program?

A standard 5-Day IOP experience provides up to 60-days of treatment for adults suffering from mental health, complex trauma, and substance use disorders. Our Colorado addiction programs are based on need, and a stay might be shorter or a little longer. AspenRidge offers a continuum of care focused on transitioning through each level of treatment. We believe that mental health treatment, trauma, and family are the root of recovery, or work toward healing these systems to provide each person with the tools they need to grow and sustain long-term recovery.

3 Hours of Group Therapy per Day, 5 Days per Week

Why It Works

The Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows clients a safe and accountable way to test their skills in real-world situations while still having a supportive team to rely upon. It’s during this part of treatment that individuals can really dig into the underlying causes of addiction and develop new coping mechanisms and address the underlying causes of substance use. It’s more flexible than PHP and our treatment professionals are present to help troubleshoot potential problems and identify roadblocks. Clients will also be assigned a Case Manager and connect with our Alumni Coordinator.
